Peters newest cultural attraction, Dance Pizazz. Beginning Saturday, November 22 from 5:00 - 7:00 p.m., the high
caliber dance salon will offer the ultimate ballroom experience with professional, yet fun instruction in a spa-like
environment.
If you want to learn to dance, improve your health or maybe you just want a wonderful social outlet, then dancing
may be an ideal activity for you. After several years of community involvement, Dance Pizazz owners David
Thompson and Nicole McElvain recognized a growing desire for an entertaining dance venue. “The emphasis is
on fun,” said Thompson. Together the professionals will also focus on quality training that is customized to your
learning style. Both men and women walk away with renewed confidence, self-esteem and new skills.
Dance Pizazz offers Ballroom, Latin, Swing and other dance styles in a posh studio atmosphere that appeals to the
senses. One highly anticipated fall class is the Ballroom Bootcamp. Tone up, lose weight, and enjoy cool ballroom
music while learning an elegant Waltz, sexy Samba, sultry Rhumba, or flirty Cha Cha. Dancers can select from
private lessons, group classes or frequent parties to hone their skills.
An especially good workout, Ballroom dancing burns 265 calories per hour. Dance Pizazz “can guide you with your
weight loss goals,” said dance partner Nicole McElvain. In 14 days she recently lost 14 pounds from dancing and

From age eight (8) to eighty (80), you are invited to relax and have fun with the dance experts. Dance Pizazz
